0081 | Photo | 7. SS-Freiwilligen-Gebirgs-Division "Prinz Eugen"

Smiling artillerymen of the SS Division "Prinz Eugen" in conversation with two elderly Muslims, who are accompanied by a little boy (the locals do not seem too thrilled about the presence of the Germans); between them is a camouflaged German 75 mm GebG 36 mountain gun (in order to save weight, the gun was mainly used without the shield, and for the needs of mountain transport, it could be broken down into eight loads, and carried by mules or horses).
