Partizanski mehaničar pozira britanskom fotografu zagledan u daljinu (jedna od omiljenih poza propagandnih fotografa), sa spitfajerovim granatama oko vrata. Ovaj žilavi momak sa brčićima a la Klark Gejbl jedan je od jugoslovenskih partizana poslatih na mehaničarsku obuku pri britanskom ratnom vazduhoplovstvu u Italiji (aerodrom Kane). Operation "Axis". Superbly camouflaged and armed to the teeth, members of the III Battalion, SS Regiment "Germania", (SS Division "Wiking",) march through the Ogulin area (in the vicinity of Kamenica). In this area, the Kordun Partisans particularly gave the Germans a headache, trying to preempt them in disarming the Italian troops.

Operacija "Osovina". Odlično kamuflirani i naoružani do zuba, pripadnici III bataljona SS-puka "Germanija" (SS-divizije "Viking") marširaju kroz rejon Ogulina (u blizini Kamenice). U ovom rejonu Nemcima su posebno zadavali glavobolju kordunaški partizani, pokušavajući da ih preduhitre u razoružavanju italijanskih trupa.

A German Air Force corporal, a member of the 12th Close Reconnaissance Group, poses for a photo by the beautiful, emerald-green Neretva, in front of the famous Old Bridge in Mostar. (The Old Bridge was destroyed in the next Yugoslav civil war, in November 1993, and its reconstruction was completed in July 2004. The man accused of the destruction of the bridge, Croatian General Slobodan Praljak, committed suicide in The Hague in November 2017.)

Jedan nemački vazduhoplovni kaplar, pripadnik 12. grupe za blisko izviđanje, pozira za fotografiju pored prelepe, smaragdno-zelene Neretve, ispred čuvenog Starog mosta u Mostaru. (Stari most je srušen u sledećem jugoslovenskom građanskom ratu, novembra 1993. godine, a njegova obnova je završena jula 2004. Čovek koji je optužen za rušenje mosta, hrvatski general Slobodan Praljak, izvršio je samoubistvo u Hagu novembra 2017. godine.)
