Operation "Rübezahl". A captured second lieutenant of the 1st Mountain Division kips huddled under a tree at the foot of Sinjajevina, with a broken spirit, and a broken nose. He came to Yugoslavia, probably not for the first time, with the task of pursuing the Partisans, and now he is forced to retreat with them before his own troops. (The elite 1st Mountain Division was sent four times to Yugoslavia during World War II: in April 1941, April 1943, November 1943 and August 1944.) Resting beside the prisoner is a group of refugees – women, children and the elderly, who left their homes in fear of the Germans and retreated into the woods along with the Partisans.

Operacija "Ribecal". Zarobljeni potporučnik 1. brdske divizije kunja šćućuren pod drvetom u podnožju Sinjajevine, slomljenog duha, i slomljenog nosa.
