Operation "Axis". Members of the II Battalion, 750th Regiment, 118th Jäger Division, watching the Stuka bombing of the Kotor fortress while waiting for their turn to attack. Resisting in Kotor was the Italian "Emilia" Division, which, in a desperate attempt to prevent the disarming of its units, even armed the civilian population to fight the Germans. With a combined aviation and light infantry attack, the Italian resistance was crushed and the city was captured.

Original caption: "From the weapon coordination. The confusing and fissured mountains of Dalmatia often present our mountain Jäger with extremely difficult tasks. The Air Force, therefore, supports them by attacking with its dive bombers at decisive moments. A dramatic moment captured by the camera. A few seconds ago, Stuka bombs smashed an enemy resistance nest in the mountainous terrain of the fort of Kotor. The mountain Jäger are in a state of alert so that they could strike immediately thereafter."

Operacija "Osovina". Pripadnici II bataljona 750. puka 118. lovačke divizije posmatraju štuka-bombardovanje kotorske tvrđave dok čekaju svoj red za napad. U Kotoru je otpor pružala italijanska divizija "Emilija", koja je, u očajničkom pokušaju da spreči razoružavanje svojih jedinica, naoružavala i civilno stanovništvo za borbu protiv Nemaca. Kombinovanim napadom avijacije i lake pešadije, italijanski otpor je slomljen, a grad zauzet.
